The end is approaching and experiencing the strange love story of these two boys once again has been amazing.
Ataru is a normal Earthling, a high school student like many others, who, due to his bad luck and his lascivious nature, lived a life that would only get worse with time.
Lum is an alien, unique girl who could have had anyone she wanted, who could have had a rich and comfortable life.
They belonged to two different worlds and should never have met, but fate wanted differently and the lives of both changed.
Lum saw the goodness in Ataru's soul, she went beyond appearances, something the Earth girls didn't do, and she chose to immerse herself in life as a normal human being.
At first Ataru thinks that his life has gotten even worse and that Lum was just another piece of bad luck, but as time passes he realizes that his life without her is dark and sad, exactly as it was before he met her. , he simply didn't realize it before.
I like how in the video Ataru is seen collapsing and falling down after he sees Lum in Rupa's hands. This makes it clear that he can no longer do without her.
This is also demonstrated by the fact that for Lum he is willing to give up his dream of having a harem.
Their meeting changed him, even if it doesn't seem like it and he can't admit it. He continues his constant flirtation with every girl, but now that flirtation is just a bad habit, an instinct.
Lum did not manage to conquer the Earth but she succeeded in an even greater feat: changing the heart of a chronic lovelorn, who did not believe he could love just one woman, who in no way wanted to give in to the commitment of a relationship but indeed he wanted to be free and carefree.
